Physicians needed to take part in study on medical errors
24 September 2009
The University of Virginia, with funding from the John Templeton Foundation, is conducting a study of physicians and how they have coped with the difficult experience of being involved in a serious medical error. The researchers are especially interested in mapping the path through adversity so that they may ultimately help others and also influence the organizational culture surrounding these events.
Each study physician will be asked to take part in a 40 to 60 minute interview, with a possible follow up phone interview if needed, and to complete several instruments related to the study. You will receive a $100 stipend for your participation.
If you are interested in learning more about this study, please contact either of the study investigators.
